Listening with Rabia, Rogers, and Ted

These words seem like an invitation to wonder about the divine—less certainty, more questions.

I think Carl Rogers had a similar insight when he revolutionized therapy. He focused on empathy, not answers—an approach that feels like Rabia’s wisdom in a new light.

And then I think of Lasso, mid-dart throw: “Be curious, not judgmental.”

These three help me to imagine what it means to listen without trying to respond—and to meditate with curiosity.
